Two nights in San Diego

Last week me and a friend of mine decided to book ourselves a trip to San Diego, California for spring break. My friend’s brother recommended we stay in a hostel to save money and possibly meet some cool people on their travels. We stayed at the USA Hostel ocean beach location and it couldn’t have been a better place to stay. With clean comfortable bunks, free complimentary breakfast, and an amazing outside patio decked out with strings of lights and places to lounge-I’d definitely recommend staying at a hostel if you’ve never tried it before.

Ocean beach:

Farmer’s Market

Ocean beach is big for their year-round market every Wednesday evening. Featuring everything from handmade jewelry and art to fresh blooms and delectable fruits. They also had various displays of live music on every corner to enjoy.

Record store near the hostel:

La Jolla :

We made a brief stop to La Jolla cove to watch their stunning sunset and explore the sandstone cliffs.

We made the drive downtown primarily for the coffee and food selection. I was so excited to indulge in as many coffee shops as possible.

Dark Horse Roasters:

My favorite coffee house we visited was Dark Horse Roasters . Not only was their interior and exterior patio visually pleasing, their cold brew and hot mochas were delicious. They also offered amazing looking vegan donuts which I unfortunately did not try- next time for sure!

Well that concludes my trip. Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading! x Olivia
